Diversity

The Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program is committed to attracting and retaining residents from diverse backgrounds. We encourage minority medical students to learn more about our program by participating in our psychiatry electives. We offer month-long experiences in inpatient, outpatient, and consultation psychiatry, as well as in community mental health. We will provide faculty and resident mentors.

Some support is available for African-American, Latino, and Native American applicants through Harvard Medical School's Visiting Clerkship Program.
