NOTES

  1. Grand Rounds will be held each week in the Leventhal Conference room located in the Shapiro building on the BIDMC east campus.
  2. Parking is available (not free) in the Carl J. Shapiro Clinical Center Garage located on Binney Street, off Longwood Avenue.

  3. Grand Rounds will be broadcast weekly from the Leventhal Conference room to both the Faulkner Hospital (Huvos Conference Rm. – 3rd floor, across from cafeteria) and the Massachusetts Mental Health Center (LSH 3rd floor Conf. Rm. on 3 North).

  4. Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs) for physicians and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for psychologist, social workers, mental health counselors and nurses will be available at all 3 sites. CONTENT EVALUATION AND CREDIT REGISTRATION FORMS will be available each week at each site and must be completed and signed in order to receive credit. ***Currently we can only offer25% CEU credit to social workers. We are working with NASW to increase this to 100% and will keep you informed. Any questions regarding non-physician CEUs can be answered by contacting the BIDMC/MMHC Continuing Education Office at 617-998-5029.
  5. On snow days, please check your department’s E-mail for the possibility of a cancellation.

BIDMC is the sponsoring institution. At the end of the year, you will receive a certificate listing the total number of CME/CEU credits that you have earned by attending grand rounds.
