use a computer with headphones use a wired internet connection (not WIFI) close all unneeded running applications avoid any other network-intensive tasks (large file transfers, etc.) allow video to buffer for up to 90 seconds before reloading page ensure Windows volume control is at maximum level ensure speaker volume is set to a comfortable level (laptops may have hardware volume controls on case)
