SPEAK UP – MGH Campaign to Empower Patients

The Committee on Racial and Ethnic Disparities is spearheading a poster campaign, launched June 13, to educate patients on the importance of being active partners in their care and to give them some of the tools to do so. Based on materials from The Joint Commission (formerly commonly known as JCAHO), but modified for use at Mass General, the posters will be posted throughout the hospital. They are also available in English and Spanish and can be given directly to patients.

For more information, see their campaign on the Joint Commission website.

-Thanks to Byron Garcia, MD, Mass General Psychiatry, for sharing the posters.
